Welcome to Regional-Anesthesia.Com, also called RAC.  The objective of R.A.C. is; (1) to teach the knowledge, skills, and art of regional anesthesia and pain therapy, and (2) to advance the science of regional anesthesia and pain therapy. Acute-pain therapy will be the lead focus of pain therapy, but all chronic-pain therapy submissions will be considered for publication too. The RAC website is integrated with: The  Journal of Regional-Anesthesia.Com, also called J-RAC. CLICK The Videos of Regional-Anesthesia.Com, also called V-RAC. CLICK J-RAC is an open-access, ethical, peer-reviewed journal. J-RAC does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs), making it the first ethical open-access anesthesia-journal. Common open-access journals charge up to $3000 to publish a submission. Such fees are a very perverse incentive for the publisher to never reject inferior submissions for publication. Weak authors are willing to pay those sums, as achieving a publication of any status supports applications for academic promotion. Only physicians with appropriate expertise, will review J-RAC submitted materials. Final submission acceptance decisions lie with the editor, Dr. Robert Raw MD. WHERE IS THE FUTURE? We are now accepting videos and text materials. We see ourselves as partners to all professional anesthesia societies. Contact us if you wish to have a professional relationship with us, and or want a society page on our website. We see ourselves as collaborators with established pay-for-print medical journals. We see RAC as filling a different non-competing and complimentary scientific niche role. No administrative staff  select publication materials, only medical physicians do that. J-RAC will also have novel content types. We seek content from teachers and researchers. We strongly seek case-reports from ordinary anesthesia providers using our easy-to-submit formats. J-RAC offers partnered-writing assistance, for persons inexperienced in scientific writing, particularly of adverse-event reports and case-reports. The journal’s ongoing existance will be sustained by reader donations and advertising. If you wish to be involved and to contribute materials to this project, please contact the editor. All materials in RAC  can be continuously re-edited, updated or modified without altering their digital identification number (DIN) or address. That makes J-RAC a living and dynamic journal.  It will also be a living text book. A key feature will be a system of multiple sub- indices, with a dynamic digital sub-index, for the sub-indices.  J-RAC materials are not tied to an rigid physical identitity, like paper- journal materials have with their journal edition number, page number, and date identities. J-RAC materials get a one time coded-digital ID-number (DIN). An example is 18VRDEAA.  Google that or click on it. You can text that DIN to anyone who then only has to Google it. They will immediately open a webpage onto that J-RAC PDF. The intelligent digital indexing system, and website arrangement, will allow associating of different materials on digital shelves, via the sub-indices.  Things like editorials and letters-to-the-editor will be associated with the article to which they primarily refer, if applicable. Errors discovered after publication will be able to be corrected in the on-line materials, without loss of the DIN or digital addresses. Reviews will be able to be updated annually or whenever appropriate, and the revision date will be stated in the materials. WHAT ARE THE PRINT AND VIDEO MATERIALS CURRENTLY AND MAINLY IN R.A.C. IN 2020? They are the lecturing materials of of the Editor, Dr. Robert Raw. They form the launch platform for for the Journal of Regional- Anesthesia.Com. (J-RAC). J-RAC seeks submissions from other collaborators or contributers.  Copyrights. © 2018 Regional-Anesthesia.Com LLC
